Stabilization, on real CSH-10 screens

These are Furuno's own captures of the same water from a CSH-10. Drag across the image. With the stabilizer on, the beam stays on the fish; off, roll and pitch swing the 6° beam and smear the picture.

  • 32 colors instead of 16, for the shading inside a school.
  • Up to 900 m detection, which Furuno puts at 20% more long-range detection than the previous model.
  • Target lock with speed and course, in fish-school and fixed-position modes.
  • NavNet TZtouchXL control and sonar-on-chart overlay.
  • Faster hoist: 7 s or 10 s to raise or lower, rated 20 kn down, 18 kn moving.

On the TZtouchXL

Connect the CSH-10 to a NavNet TZtouchXL running software 25.11 or later and it shows up as a native sensor with its own sonar page. Range, tilt and gain move from the touchscreen, and the sonar picture can be laid over the chart, so a school sits on the contour it's following.
